Travel Tips when traveling in Kansai

 photo DSC00014_zps9803131b.jpg
The Kyoto City bus is useful for getting around various places within Kyoto.
When you are traveling in Kyoto, you can get to visit most of the main tourist spot by only paying 500yen for this one day bus ticket.
There are few options and packages regarding these one day pass,
such as subway + bus one day pass which costs 1,200yen.
But if you just wanted to travel around Kyoto to visit most of the temples and shrines,
this 500yen one day pass is sufficient.
For me, i used this pass and I travelled to Kiyomizudera, Fushimi Inari Shrine, Kinkakiji, Gion in one day.

The bus route is clearly shown in the map below.
You can also get this from the tourist information counter ( near the train station)

You will have the date you purchased / used on the back of your card.
This will be printed on your first usage of the pass.
The second time onwards, you just need to show the bus driver this card when you hop off from the bus.

Another option when you travel around Kansa Area is this Surutto Kansai Ticket.
I bought this 3 day ticket for 5200yen.
(they also offer 2 day ticket for 4000 yen)

The advantages of this ticket is you can travel with most of the trains and buses in Kansai Area ( Kyoto, Osaka, Hyogo, Wakayama, Nara, Shiga) (except for JR line)
And you can use this card for 2 or 3 seperate days (not necessary to be 2 or 3 days continuously.)

You can find the available area from the PDF map below.
Covers most of the places in Kansai Area.
