My Packing Essentials

As I am flying to Manchester soon, I am writing this post
:- My Packing Essentials.

4 more days to go...

Not an interesting post, but more likely a reminder for packing so I can refer it whenever I go travel in the future.
I always do packing a week in advance so I know what I lack of so I have time to get it.

Clothes 
Check the weather of your destination before packing.
It is easy to pack when I go back to Malaysia because of the hot weather throughout the year. But this time, a little different.
I just checked the weather forecast of Manchester and it is slightly lower than London and Tokyo.
So, I need to pack some long sleeves, jackets and cardigans.
And since I am going for an academic conference, most of my clothes are smart casual.
I packed 3 dresses which looks formal but not so formal, casual but not so casual LOL
And I packed 2 pairs of comfortable wedges instead of sneaker.
I just wanna to look pretty at all time....LOL

Hygiene and Beauty
I am very fussy on shampoo so I will bring my own shampoo.
I love to bring facial mask and bath salt too.
And perfume is an essential item too.
Not forgot to mention about cleanser, lotion, essence, cleanser etc.

Technology 
My iPhone , iPad, DSLR, earphone, mobile battery and chargers.
(And universal adapter too)

In-flight Essentials
Long haul flight might be uncomfortable and tiring.

I usually will bring along my neck pillow and eye mask from MUJI.
I don't like ear plug though.
I fell in love with this neck pillow after watching this video.

And I have a good product from MUJI to recommend.
It's a bag in bag Organizer which comes with a strap.



So I will pull it out from my backpack when checking in flight, passing through the immigration until boarding the plane.
It is very convenient so I wont feel miserable digging /searching for my passport or flight ticket.
The quality is good , comes  with many compartment, handy and light in weight.

New TV

Finally, LeoPalace came and change a new TV for me.

I was using their CRT TV for past 2 years.

And finally change to 32 inches LCD TV. 

Yippie.

No more eye sore CRT screen!

New Items added at home

Was craving for Japanese food especially Japanese Soba.

Cleaned my room and decorated it with new 2 tier dessert tray.

Hehe

And I also bought a new pair of bedroom slipper.

I love the big ribbons. 

Hehe!

From Singapore to Narita

Hired a taxi from dar-dar's place to Changi Airport.

The taxi driver was speeding. LOL.

We reached the airport quite early.

SGD22 for that service is worth the price. LOL.

So we checked in....

And we had our breakfast together.

Nasi lemak!!!

Chicken floss toast.

Yummy!

So long SINGAPORE.
I will be back soon!!

I don't have a good appetite coz I was so sleepy.

Didn't manage to finish all.

Finally, arrived safely in Japan.
I started to miss my family and dar-dar.

Happy day - he fulfilled his promise

At Mid Valley, my favorite shopping mall in KL.

He is so so cute.

Finally, he bought me a diamond ring after surveying at several jewelry stores.

At last, I picked my own favorite design and diamond.

0.38 carat but is F color, triple excellent but only SI2, GIA certified.

My requirement was D color 0.3 carat, but dar-dar said instead of paying the same price for color, why don't u get a bigger stone.

So, after think twice, I listened to his advice and get the 0.38 carat one.

Bye bye D color.....

The price is quite reasonable.

Highly recommend WAH CHAN if u not going for Branded such as Tiffany&co or Cartier etc.

The salesman was quite friendly and gave us alot of advise.

I will definitely go back to WAH CHAN especially Mid Valley store.

No regret.

Coz card is swiped and payment is made.

Haha.

Oh, no proposal is made by him yet so far.

We are not romantic couple so I don't think proposal is important.

But at least a romantic dinner or a rose will do when the day comes.

Hehe!

Surprise CNY gift

So my brother came back home from Germany business trip with a surprise gift for me.

It was a CHANEL lambskin tri-fold wallet.

I was jumping happily.

OMG!

My dream wallet!

I told myself that I will buy this when I graduate from my Master course but now I got it for free.

Yippie!!!

Thanks my brother for his generosity.

Back in Malaysia

After more than five months, I am back in Malaysia for celebrating CNY.

This is my 2nd time taking JAL.

I love their seat. It was very spacious and comfortable. 

And I watched Big Hero 6 on plane. 

Good to meet my love and family.

Miss them so much!!

Fighting for my dream

Currently, I have an opportunity to go to a conference at Manchester UK next year and I'm fighting for it.
Hehe!
Will reveal it soon once everything is confirmed.

Future Home

From Singapore, I followed dar-dar to Johor Bahru with his big bike.
He looks so cool on the bike.

He brought me to see our future home.
This will be my future home (most probably) Hehe!
So sad, he haven't got the key so I could only see from outside.



And we had Dang Gui duck for lunch at Ya Wang.

I'm going HOME

A short break back to hometown.

Has been waiting this for so long.
Finally, I can go back to my country for a short vacation.


Night flight.
Honestly, I was too excited that I couldn't sleep well on plane.


Finally, touched down at the new KLIA 2


Really? There is a small supermarket in the airport.

I miss nasi lemak so much!

Then, i took KLIA Transit to KLIA from KLIA2 and waited for next flight back to my hometown.


A380 spotted! Wow!


The MAS crew is carrying the luggages with care.
Thumbs up for their service!


Waited for around 6 hours for the next flight.
I took MAS back to Alor Star.
Nice clear blue sky on that day!

Finally, I'm HOME!

Japanese Snacks

Snacks in Japan are mostly delicious and addictive.
I didn't eat this for some time due to my diet plan.
This time, I bought some to bring back to Malaysia.

Actually I love Pocky more than Pretz but this time, I bought Pretz coz they have new flavor which are very special such as Orange flavor, Green Tea flavor, Pear flavor,
Takoyaki flavor, Ramen flavor, and also Hotate flavor.




And I love this caramel flavor snacks from Bourbon.
And on the right is Toppo, pineapple flavor.


Can't resist this cute packaging so I bought it.

And also Hi-chew too!

Japanese snacks are cute and yummy!
Even I am an adult, but I still can't resist the cuteness of the packaging.
End up filling my luggage with snacks! Hehe!

Can't wait to meet my family and my dar-dar soon!

Flashback first half of year 2014

Time passes swiftly.

First half of year 2014 has passed.

It was pretty fast.

I was busy since April as I just entered my Master course.

I have to keep on moving forward to achieve my goal.

Anyway, below are some review of what I have done during the past six month.

January 2014

• Celebrated Lunar New Year in Yokohama
• Got Ipad Mini Retina Display as present from my brother

• Went back to Malaysia for two weeks and enjoyed very much
• Celebrated Double Valentine's Day with my dar-dar

March 2014

• Get back in touch with someone who gave a big impact in my life after seven years 
• Experienced snowboaring first time in my life
• 

April 2014

• Second cherry blossom season
• 
• Life getting busier as I just started my Master course

May 2014

• Bought the most expensive shampoo in my life
• Watch the first movie in Japan cinema for the first time
• 

June 2014

• Joined voluntary job 

• Went rafting with Malaysian friends

• My Xperia Z spoiled and I changed a new phone, Galaxy S4

Life goes on.

My life is full of joy and happiness...
I enjoy experience new things and meet new people.

Thanks to the support from my family and my love one. 

I am looking forward to my summer vacation on August.
